We might think our body is strong enough to within stand most of the externalities. But in truth, the body takes a lot of damages internally and do not show any symptom to most of them. Even a minor stress can whack the body in and out. These are simple things you need to do in order to maintain a stable fertility health. The way you eat and what you eat has the most important effect on your body. The same way the effect is positive or negative. The only thing which is important are the ones you want to achieve in life. May it be planning for pregnancy or any other such thing for future, a poor fertility health can put a dent in a lot of things. Here we can see positive things which can have an impacting effect on your fertility health:
Eat well: This is as important as anything else. Being healthy and eating good food is directly linked. Stay nourished with a wholesome diet which includes a lot of vitamins, proteins, zincs, other nutrients. Deficiency in any of these can cause symptoms which cause poor fertility health.
Lifestyle and society are putting a pressure on us in terms of eating and drinking. If you are from one of the big cities, alcohol will definitely be playing a part in your life. Alcohol has the tendency to kill sperms. The production of sperms also gets affected when you are drunk. The quality of sperms which are produced is poor. These will reduce the capability of the sperm to swim in the cervix. Hence is it important to keep a check on your alcohol intake. Regular drinking habits will have a lasting impact than social drinking. Hence please look into it.
Smoking is another important risk factor. One of my friends was diagnosed with infertility at a Fertility Clinic in Chandigarh. In the counseling session, he was said that his smoking habit has caused the sperms to shrink. The sperms become so unhealthy that is literally unfit for the reproductive process. Smoking can cause a lasting impact on the reproductive health which sometimes can become irreversible.
Watching your weight for harmful side-effects. The current generation is so obese that obesity has become an epidemic. Being overweight brings a lot of harmful illness like thyroid and diabetes. One of my friend who works at an IVF center in Mumbai told me that the risk of obese women not conceiving is 5 times more than normal women. It also increases the risk of gestational diabetes which can be passed onto the baby. This is yet another complication.
